A senior White House official said Friday that, White House Senior Advisor Mr. Jared Kushner and Kuwaiti Ambassador to the United States His Excellency Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah “had a very positive meeting at the White House and exchanged views about the Middle East peace process. After the scheduled 30 minutes, Jared had to excuse himself for an unrelated meeting with National Security Advisor John Bolton. Jason Greenblatt concluded the meeting with the ambassador.
“Any suggestion that Jared and the ambassador were not cordial and mutually respectful is false. In addition, it is untrue that Jared suggested he had intervened to protect Kuwait from a Qatar-style economic blockade.”
