On Saturday, November 1, 2014, the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait will sponsor an educational fair at the Marina Hotel, Salmiya from 6:00-9:00 P.M. The fair provides a chance for Kuwaiti students to meet with representatives from more than 15 accredited U.S. colleges and universities, who will help Kuwaiti students explore higher education opportunities in the United States. U.S. Ambassador to Kuwait Douglas Silliman will open the fair.
The following schools will be represented at the fair: St. Cloud State University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Saint Louis University, University of Alabama, Rutgers- The State University of New Jersey, Columbia University, Northern Arizona University, University of Missouri, Middle Tennessee State University, Case Western Reserve University, Bentley University, State University of New York- University at Buffalo, Willamette University, West Virginia University, University of Oklahoma and American Consortium of Universities: West Chester University of Pennsylvania, University of North Carolina Greensboro, and Valparaiso University.
EducationUSA advisers and U.S. Embassy consular officers will be present at the fair to address students’ questions related to studying in the U.S. and the student visa process. U.S. Embassy youth alumni will also be present to share their experiences in Embassy-sponsored youth programs in Kuwait.
