Security Message for U.S. Citizens: Possible Demonstration

The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait informs U.S. citizens that localized demonstrations are expected to take place in the Al-Andalous area in the Farwaniya Governorate beginning Friday morning on April 21, 2017. These localized demonstrations may produce crowds.
Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate into violence. You should avoid areas of demonstrations, and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, or demonstrations.
