Routine Message for U.S. Citizens: Consular Section Closure due to Passing of Former President George H.W. Bush
The Consular Section at the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait will be closed on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, for routine consular services due to the passing of former President George H.W. Bush. The Consular Section will reopen for normal operations on Thursday, December 6, 2018.
As detailed in this press release, the Embassy will open a condolence book for all those would like to visit the Embassy to express their sympathies and honor his memory. The book will be open beginning on Sunday, December 2, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday, December 3 from 10 AM to 2 PM, and Tuesday, December 4, 10 AM to 2 PM.
