During this time, it is important to stay home, away from others, and separate yourself from other people in your home, if applicable, until your home isolation ends.
As a reminder, if a U.S. citizen is admitted to a hospital with COVID-19, the Kuwaiti government will not inform the U.S. Embassy unless you are incapacitated. If you are admitted to a hospital with COVID-19 and would like the U.S. Embassy to know, please contact us by phone (2259-1001) or by email (KuwaitACS@state.gov). Please note that no visitors of any kind are permitted. You will not be released from the hospital until the Ministry of Health has determined that you have recovered. Only then will you be discharged into home quarantine for 14 days.
Please continue to maintain social distancing and wear a protective face mask in public spaces.
