On April 20, the Government of Kuwait extended the government closure, which includes all non-emergency government offices, at least through Thursday, May 28, unless otherwise notified.
During the month of Ramadan, the nationwide curfew hours will be extended from 4:00pm until 8:00am. These extended hours are set to begin on Friday, April 24 until the end of Ramadan, on approximately May 23. Throughout this period, food delivery services will be permitted to operate during the curfew between the hours of 5:00pm and 1:00am.
As a reminder, people who are found in violation of the curfew order will be imprisoned for up to three years, fined 10,000 KD, and have their names published in the media. Foreign nationals found in violation of the curfew order also risk deportation.
