The Fulbright program was established in 1946 by the U.S. congress to “enable the government of the United States to increases mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.” The American Embassy of Kuwait offers programs for students and scholars.

The Public Affairs Section at the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait is soliciting proposals for projects that promote bilateral cooperation, enhance mutual understanding, and strengthen ties between Kuwait and the United States.
Professional and Cultural Exchanges
The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait provides a variety of exchange programs for youth leaders and professionals from various backgrounds in Kuwait. These exchanges help candidates to deepen their understanding of the American culture and grow their professional and academic skills. U.S. citizens cannot apply for these programs.
