MEPI Kuwait
U.S. Embassy Kuwait welcomes applications in response to The Office of Assistance Coordination’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) Program for its 2019 Local Grants Program in Kuwait. Kuwaiti non-profit civil society organizations (registered or unregistered) are eligible to apply.
The Embassy Priorities:
- Building coalitions around priority issues with diverse civil society organizations; and
- Promoting human rights for all groups including but not limited to:
- Women’s empowerment;
- Worker’s rights;
- Treatment of minorities; and/or
- Freedom of expression.
Projects should also seek to build partnerships or opportunities for engagement between civil society organizations, government agencies, and private entities to achieve shared goals and demonstrate the mutual benefits of enhanced citizen engagement.

Applicants must submit their completed application materials electronically through www.grants.gov or via email to NEA-Grants@state.gov by 5:00PM on May 21, 2019.
